The Kabul Tribune (KT) — Ministry of Defense Taliban said it carried out strikes targeting ISIS-linked sites in Pakistan’s Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces.
In a statement, the ministry said the sites were being used to plan attacks inside Afghanistan with alleged support from certain intelligence networks.
The ministry said the strikes were conducted in the Gulistan area of Qila Abdullah district and the Shakarab area of Chaghi district in Balochistan province. It added that what it described as joint centers of “forces of evil and corruption” were targeted during the operations.
The statement also said an ISIS site in the Qambar Khel area of Orakzai district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, reportedly used by key figures for movement and coordination, was also struck.
The ministry emphasized that the identified and high-value targets were successfully hit during the operations.
Pakistani officials have not yet commented on the incident.
