The Kabul Tribune (KT) — Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of Iran’s parliament, has warned that Tehran will deliver a decisive response if the United States makes what he described as excessive demands.
Ghalibaf said Iranian officials, under the guidance of Iran’s supreme leadership, have been tasked with ensuring the full implementation of the terms and conditions of the agreement with Washington.
He stressed that Iran would firmly respond to any breach of commitments, violations or overreach by the United States.
“In the previous war, they were struck once. If they choose to follow the same path again, they will face a stronger response this time,” Ghalibaf said.
His remarks come as discussions continue over the future of the agreement between Tehran and Washington and the extent to which both sides will adhere to their commitments.
