The Kabul Tribune (KT) — A woman has given birth to quintuplets in northern Balkh province, Taliban health officials said.
According to the Taliban’s Public Health Directorate in Balkh, the delivery took place at a regional hospital, where the mother gave birth to five babies — three girls and two boys.
Officials said the health condition of both the mother and the newborns is stable.
The children’s father, identified as Abdullah Alwazi, has called on the public and relevant organizations to support the family in caring for the newborns.
