The Kabul Tribune (KT) — Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, Iran’s parliament speaker, said any potential agreement with the United States to ease tensions must include a halt to attacks across all fronts, particularly in Lebanon.

Qalibaf made the remarks during talks with Nabih Berri, the speaker of Lebanon’s parliament.

He warned that if Israeli attacks continue, Iran would not only suspend the negotiation process but would also take a position against Israel.

The comments come as diplomatic efforts continue to reduce regional tensions and explore the possibility of agreements between Tehran and Washington.
