The Kabul Tribune (KT) — The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has delivered medical equipment worth $100,000 to the emergency department of Baghlan Provincial Hospital, officials said Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
Dr. Sadaam Hussain Arab, the hospital’s chief physician,
said the donation includes an operating table, suction devices, nebulizers,
wheelchairs, medical record materials, small oxygen-generation machines, and
surgical and operating sets.
He said the new equipment will strengthen emergency services
and improve the speed and quality of care provided to patients.
