The Kabul Tribune (KT) — A three-day national and international exhibition showcasing pomegranate harvests will open in Kandahar on Monday, the provincial Department of Information and Culture announced.
According to the department, the exhibition aims to promote
and support local pomegranate and agricultural products.
The event is
organized in cooperation with a private company, the Ministry of Commerce, the
Chamber of Industry and Mines, and with financial support from the
International Organization for Migration (IOM).
Hundreds of companies and traders from various provinces are
expected to participate, displaying handmade, industrial, agricultural, and
health-related products. A similar exhibition was held in Kandahar last year to
promote local agricultural products.
