The Kabul Tribune (KT)— Two people were killed and another was injured after a Lexus-type vehicle overturned on the Herat-Islam Qala highway, a Taliban administration police official said.
Sayed Masoud Hosseini, spokesperson for the Herat Police Command, said the crash occurred Sunday afternoon in the Qodusabad area of the highway.
Hosseini said the vehicle veered off the road and overturned. The injured person was taken to Herat Regional Hospital for treatment, he said.
Hosseini attributed the crash to the driver’s negligence.
