The Kabul Tribune (KT) — Hengaw Organization for Human Rights reported that Iranian authorities secretly executed at least five prisoners, including three Afghan nationals and a Baloch prisoner, at Taybad Central Prison in Razavi Khorasan province.
According to information obtained by Hengaw, the executions
were carried out at dawn on July 29, 2026.
The three Afghan nationals were identified as Mullah Rabie
Abdulmohammadi, 56, from Sheberghan; his 24-year-old nephew, Sakhi
Abdulmohammadi, also from Sheberghan; and Qaed Nasiri, 27, from Kunduz.
The other two prisoners were identified as Mozaffar
Minapour, 37, from Taybad, and Nader Abil, 40, a Baloch prisoner.
Sources familiar with the cases told Hengaw that Rabie
Abdulmohammadi and Sakhi Abdulmohammadi had been arrested two years earlier in
connection with a drug-related case. Nasiri had been imprisoned for four years,
Abil for five years and Minapour for three years before Iran’s judiciary
sentenced all five to death on drug-related charges.
Iranian state media and judicial authorities have not
publicly announced the executions, according to Hengaw.
