The Kabul Tribune (KT) — The Associated Press (AP) reported that two people were killed and five others, including two children, were injured in a shooting at the Bite of Seattle food festival in Seattle, Washington.
According to AP, the shooting occurred inside the festival
grounds. Police said a single suspect opened fire and urged the public to avoid
the area while officers responded to the incident.
Authorities said the motive for the shooting remains
unclear, and an investigation is ongoing.
The incident is the latest in a series of shootings across
the United States, where gun violence continues to be a major public safety
concern.
The shooting came a day after another deadly incident in Berlin,
Germany, where a driver struck a crowd, killing one person and injuring 16
others.
