According to a statement issued by the military's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) and cited by local media, security forces also detained individuals accused of facilitating the planned suicide attacks.
The military alleged that the militants were affiliated with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and claimed they had links to India.
Pakistan has repeatedly accused the Taliban of providing support and safe haven to anti-Pakistan militant groups, including the TTP. The Taliban have consistently denied the allegations.
