The Kabul Tribune (KT) — Amir Saeid Iravani, Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations, said consultations and exchanges between Iran and the United States are ongoing to reach an agreement.
Iravani made the remarks following a UN Security Council meeting on Afghanistan.
He said Tehran and Washington are exchanging views and proposals through Pakistan in an effort to finalize the text of a potential agreement.
According to Iravani, the two sides have not yet reached a final draft, but discussions and efforts to finalize the deal are continuing.
