The Kabul Tribune (KT) — The Taliban’s Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said a rural road project worth 23 million Afghanis has been completed and handed over for use in Kunar Province.
According to the ministry, the road was constructed in the Mazaar Dara area of Nurgal district and stretches approximately 15 kilometers.
Officials said the project created temporary employment opportunities for dozens of workers during its construction.
They added that the completion of the road is expected to improve transportation for local residents and have a positive impact on daily life and economic activities in the area.
The development comes as the Taliban authorities report ongoing implementation of infrastructure projects across various provinces, aimed at improving rural development and public services.
