The Kabul Tribune (KT)— Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s foreign minister, is set to begin a regional tour to Pakistan, Oman and Russia for talks on ongoing tensions involving Iran, the United States and Israel, Iranian state media reported Friday.

The Islamic Republic News Agency said the trip will begin later Friday and will focus on bilateral discussions and the latest regional developments.

The visit comes amid heightened tensions in the region, including concerns over a potential escalation involving Iran, the United States and Israel.

Earlier, Reuters, citing Pakistani sources, reported that Araghchi is expected to visit Islamabad. The report said there is a possibility that talks between Iran and the United States could resume in Pakistan.

Iran has not officially confirmed any plans for negotiations with Washington.
