The Kabul Tribune (KT) — Pakistan’s special envoy for Afghanistan held talks with Poland’s ambassador to Pakistan on regional security, with both sides emphasizing the broader threat posed by terrorist groups.
Mohammad Sadiq, Pakistan’s Special Envoy for Afghanistan, met Maciej Pisarski in Islamabad, where they discussed regional developments with a focus on terrorism, international militant networks and cross-border attacks.
Sadiq described the meeting as productive, saying the two sides exchanged views on security challenges facing the region.
Both officials agreed that terrorist groups pose a threat not only to Pakistan and neighboring countries but also to nations beyond the region, underscoring the need for broader international cooperation to address the issue.
