The Kabul Tribune (KT) — United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has called for dialogue, de-escalation and full respect for international law, warning of growing geopolitical tensions and human suffering worldwide.

In a post on X, Guterres said the world is facing “profound geopolitical tensions, widening inequalities, eroding trust and immense human suffering.”

He stressed that the current global situation requires renewed efforts to strengthen peace and ensure justice for all.

“This moment demands dialogue, de-escalation and full respect for international law,” he said.

Guterres urged the international community to continue working toward reducing tensions and promoting stability amid escalating global challenges.
