The Kabul Tribune (KT) - Donald Trump, President of the United States, has once again called on members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, as well as Iran’s military and police, to lay down their weapons.
In remarks reported by Fox News, Trump said he is “once again calling on all members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, the military and the police to lay down their arms.”
He urged Iranian forces to stand with the Iranian people and take part in reclaiming their country, saying they would have an opportunity “to take back your country” after years of rule.
Trump also offered immunity to those who surrender, saying they would be “perfectly safe with total immunity.”
However, he warned that those who reject the offer would face serious consequences, stating they could face “absolutely guaranteed death.”
The remarks come amid rising tensions between the United States and Iran.
