The Kabul Tribune (KT) - Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), said there is currently no evidence that Iran is building a nuclear bomb, but several issues continue to raise serious concerns.
He highlighted Iran’s large stockpile of enriched uranium near weapons-grade levels and its refusal to grant full access to IAEA inspectors as the main points of concern.
Grossi added that until Iran cooperates with the IAEA to resolve outstanding safeguards issues, the Agency cannot confirm that Iran’s nuclear programme is solely for peaceful purposes.
