The Kabul Tribune (KT) - The U.S. State Department has approved more than $6.5 billion in potential military sales to Israel under three separate contracts, the Pentagon said on Friday, according to Reuters.
The largest approval includes a $3.8 billion deal for AH-64E Apache attack helicopters, with Boeing and Lockheed Martin named as the principal contractors.
Another proposed sale, valued at $1.98 billion, covers Joint Light Tactical Vehicles and related equipment, with AM General as the main contractor.
In addition, a third military contract worth $740 million was also approved, Reuters reported.
