The Kabul Tribune (KT) — The Chairman of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI) met with officials from the Russian Embassy’s Economic Section in Kabul to discuss expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
According to a statement posted by ACCI on Jan. 19, 2026,
the talks focused on technical collaboration and potential investment
opportunities, particularly in the energy sector.
The meeting comes amid ongoing efforts to strengthen
economic ties and explore new areas of cooperation between Afghanistan’s
private sector and foreign partners.
