The Kabul Tribune (KT) — Indian media outlets reported on Saturday that Bollywood actor and performer Nora Fatehi was injured in a car accident in Mumbai after a vehicle allegedly driven by a drunk driver collided with the car she was traveling in.
According to reports by Indian news organizations, the
incident occurred Saturday afternoon as Fatehi was en route to a scheduled
public appearance. She was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors said she
sustained minor injuries, swelling and a slight concussion, but was in stable
condition.
Indian media cited medical sources as saying that scans
ruled out serious internal injuries, and Fatehi was discharged after receiving
treatment.
In a message shared on social media, Fatehi described the
crash as a frightening experience and urged people to avoid drunk driving. She
reassured fans that she was recovering, though still experiencing pain.
Indian media also reported that police arrested the driver
involved in the crash on charges related to drunk and reckless driving, and an
investigation is ongoing.
Despite the incident, Fatehi later appeared at her scheduled
event, according to Indian press reports.
