The Kabul Tribune (KT) — As malnutrition continues to worsen across Afghanistan, mothers and children are visiting health clinics daily seeking treatment, the World Food Programme (WFP) said on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025.
This year, WFP provided nutritious food to thousands of families across the country. The agency thanked its donors for supporting the initiative, which gives mothers and children a chance for a healthier future.
WFP highlighted the story of Saleha, whose seven-month-old daughter is among many recovering with the help of the organization’s nutritious food programs.
