The Kabul Tribune (KT) — The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has thanked Germany for a new contribution of 2 million euros ($2.31 million) to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund.
In a post on its official X account on Monday, OCHA
Afghanistan said the funding would help support people whose lives have been
disrupted by sudden shocks and disasters across the country.
OCHA said Germany’s continued support is strengthening the
humanitarian response in Afghanistan and providing hope to vulnerable
communities.
“Together, we invest in humanity,” OCHA said, expressing
appreciation for Germany’s ongoing assistance to humanitarian efforts in the
country.
