The Kabul Tribune (KT) — Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, Sadiq Khan, met with his Uzbek counterpart, Ismatulla Irgashev, in Moscow ahead of consultations under the Moscow Format on Afghanistan, Khan said.
Khan said the two officials exchanged views on the evolving
situation in Afghanistan and recent regional developments.
The meeting took place ahead of the Moscow Format
consultations, with discussions focusing on regional dialogue, peace and
stability, Khan said.
The Moscow Format brings together regional countries to
discuss Afghanistan’s political, security and economic situation and promote
regional cooperation.
