The Kabul Tribune (KT) — An Afghan trade delegation led by Sayed Karim Hashemi, head of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, attended the “Bharat Buildcon” international construction exhibition in New Delhi, India.
Speaking at the event, Hashemi said Afghanistan offers a promising market for international investors, particularly Indian companies, due to its abundant natural and agricultural resources, and invited them to invest in the country.
The exhibition was held from June 18 to June 21, 2026, in the Indian capital New Delhi, bringing together representatives from around 80 countries. More than 350 booths showcased agricultural and industrial products.
The participation comes as Afghanistan seeks to expand its trade ties with regional and global markets and attract foreign investment to boost domestic production and exports.
