The Kabul Tribune (KT) — Taliban officials have claimed that at least 13 civilians were killed in Pakistani airstrikes targeting parts of eastern Afghanistan.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said the Pakistani military carried out air raids in Kunar, Khost, and Paktika provinces, alleging that civilian homes were bombed during the attacks.

According to Mujahid, the casualties included 11 children, one woman, and one elderly man, while 14 women and children were injured.

He described the strikes as a “crime against humanity” and an act of aggression, and said the attacks violated Afghanistan’s airspace.

Pakistan has not yet commented on the claims
