The Kabul Tribune (KT) — United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs says many people in Afghanistan continue to lack access to basic healthcare services, particularly in vulnerable communities.

In a post on X, OCHA Afghanistan said essential primary healthcare services are being delivered with support from the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund and contributions from European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations.

The agency said its partners are working to expand access to healthcare for the most vulnerable populations across the country.

The update highlights ongoing humanitarian efforts to address gaps in Afghanistan’s health system, where limited resources and infrastructure continue to affect access to essential services.
