The Kabul Tribune (KT) - Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has warned U.S. President Donald Trump in response to his deadline for Iran, saying the region could face serious consequences if tensions continue to escalate.
In a post on X, Ghalibaf said: “Your reckless moves are dragging the United States into a living HELL for every single family, and our whole region is going to burn because you insist on following Netanyahu’s commands. Make no mistake: You won’t gain anything through war crimes.”
The comments come as Trump reportedly gave Iran a deadline until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday Eastern Time (early Wednesday in Tehran) to reach an agreement, warning of “total destruction” of its infrastructure if no deal is reached.
