The Kabul Tribune (KT) - UN Secretary-General António Guterres warned that the prolonged closure of the Strait of Hormuz is disrupting the flow of oil, gas, and fertilizer at a critical time for global planting.
He said civilians in the region and beyond are suffering and living under severe insecurity.
Guterres added that the UN is working to reduce the impact of the conflict, but the most effective solution is clear: "the war must end immediately."
