The Kabul Tribune (KT) — Iran has denied any ongoing negotiations with the United States, rejecting recent claims by Donald Trump, as cross-border attacks between Iran and Israel continue to escalate.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Esmail Baghaei, said
there are no direct or indirect talks between Tehran and Washington, dismissing
Trump’s assertions as unfounded.
Separately, Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri
Moghadam, also denied reports of negotiations, stating that while such claims
have circulated in the media, no discussions have taken place between the two
sides.
He added that some “friendly countries” have engaged in
consultations with both Iran and the United States in an effort to help end the
conflict.
Meanwhile, hostilities between Iran and Israel have
intensified. Israeli Army Radio reported that Iran launched four missile salvos
toward Israel within 40 minutes, with explosions heard in the greater Tel Aviv
area.
Air raid sirens were triggered across parts of Israel,
prompting residents to seek shelter as Iranian missile strikes targeted
multiple locations.
The developments come amid ongoing US-Israeli attacks on
Iran, further raising tensions in the region and fueling concerns about a
broader escalation.
