The Kabul Tribune (KT) — Kandahar municipality said a 650-meter-long and 11-meter-wide road connecting the city’s 13th and 1st districts has been completed at a cost of 18 million Afghanis and was opened to public use on Tuesday.

In a statement, the municipality said the project was completed within three months and created job opportunities for about 80 people during its construction.

It added that with the completion of the road, the Ferqa area has now been connected to the Mirwais Regional Hospital via the main road, easing access for residents and improving traffic flow in the area.
