The Kabul Tribune (KT) — Iranian media Tasnim News Agency reported that Korosh Keyvani was executed on charges of spying for Israel and collaborating with the Mossad intelligence agency.

According to Tasnim, the execution took place on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, following judicial proceedings and confirmation of the sentence by Iran’s Supreme Court.

The report said Keyvani was accused of providing sensitive information and images of key locations to Mossad operatives in exchange for money. He was allegedly recruited via online platforms in 2023 and received various espionage training during meetings with Mossad agents in European countries.

After returning to Iran, he reportedly used advanced communication and spying equipment to gather information, photograph sensitive sites, and transmit the data to Mossad.

Iranian security forces arrested him in the Savojbolagh area, recovering cash, communication devices, and espionage equipment from his possession.

Tasnim noted that Iran has previously executed several individuals accused of spying for Israel.
