The Kabul Tribune (KT) — Iran and Russia have agreed on a three-year roadmap to elevate their strategic partnership and enhance coordination between their foreign ministries.
In a post on X, Iranian diplomat Seyed Abbas Araghchi said
the plan aims to enable stronger action against unlawful Western sanctions,
promote regional stability, advance infrastructure projects, and block illegal
measures in the UN Security Council.
Araghchi added that the agreement builds on the countries’
existing Strategic Partnership Treaty and emphasized that cooperation with
neighboring countries remains a top priority.
